Authorities are warning of a high risk of road closures, flight cancellations, power outages, and the isolation of rural communities. In Cornwall, winds could reach speeds of up to 145 km/h, posing a serious threat to life and property.
The situation remains particularly severe in northern Scotland, where hundreds of schools have been closed due to sub-zero temperatures and heavy snowfall.
