The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that, following the completion of the certification process, the lists of certified parliamentary candidates for participation in the early elections for the Assembly of Kosovo, to be held on June 7, 2026, have been published.
According to the CEC, at its meeting held on May 16, a total of 902 candidates for MPs from 21 political entities were certified.
“The certified candidates represent 17 political parties, 3 coalitions, and 1 independent candidate. Out of the total number of candidates, 593 are men and 309 are women,” the CEC statement said.
The electoral institution also said that the full list of parliamentary candidates has now been published and can be downloaded from the CEC’s official website.
