The Government of the Republic of Kosovo held an electronic meeting yesterday, during which it established the State Council for the commemoration of the 27th anniversary of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) epic. The council will be composed of the following members:
- Ejup Maqedonci, Minister of Defense, Chairperson;
- Fadil Nura, Mayor of Skenderaj, Co-chairperson;
- Hajrulla Çeku, Minister of Culture, Youth, and Sports, Member;
- Elbert Krasniqi, Minister of Local Government Administration, Member;
- Bashkim Jashari, Commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Member;
- Gazmend Hoxha, Director General of the Kosovo Police, Member; and
- Representatives from organizations formed by KLA veterans, Members.
With this decision, the Office of the President, the Assembly of Kosovo, and the Association of Kosovo Municipalities are invited to send a representative.
