The European Union has expressed regret that Serbia has still not taken the necessary steps to bring to justice those responsible for the attacks in northern Kosovo in 2023, following the latest decision in the Banjska case.
A spokesperson for the European Commission made this statement while commenting on Friday’s decision of the Basic Court of Pristina, by which three Serbs were found guilty for the Banjska attack.
According to the court’s ruling, Vladimir Tolić and Blagoje Spasojević were sentenced to life imprisonment, while Dušan Maksimović was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
