Former German Minister of State for Europe Michael Roth has responded to former Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić, who stated during the election campaign in Serbia that “at some point, the Serbian flag will fly over Prizren.”
“Poor Serbia! Ivica Dačić wants the Serbian flag to fly over Prizren. Territorial claims against a neighboring country leave me speechless,” Roth wrote.
Roth said Serbian voters should understand that this path “leads to war” and called for the suspension of European Union funding to Serbia.
“Serbian voters should know what they are voting for on October 25. This path leads to war. It does not lead to the EU. No more EU money for Serbia!” he wrote on X.
