Former President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has announced that she will be a featured speaker at an upcoming TED Talk event in Vancouver, Canada.

In a statement shared on social media, Osmani said she will speak about Kosovo’s history and its broader lessons on democracy, truth, and human rights.

“TED Talk is one of those rare spaces where ideas are not just thoughts, but catalysts for action,” she said, adding that it is a privilege to be invited as a keynote speaker.

Osmani noted that her speech will focus on how Kosovo’s experience demonstrates that even small countries can inspire significant positive change when they consistently defend truth, democracy, and human dignity.

The former president emphasized that safeguarding democratic values and humanism on a daily basis can have a global impact, particularly in shaping more just and peaceful societies.

The TED Talk appearance comes as Osmani continues to represent Kosovo in international forums, highlighting the country’s post-conflict development and democratic progress.
