On the anniversary of the Studime massacre, AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj solemnly commemorated the 117 martyrs killed by Serbian forces, emphasizing that they are the cornerstones of Kosovo’s freedom.
“The 117 martyrs of Studime fell for this land and became the foundation of our freedom. They were killed simply because they were Albanian, simply because they believed in the freedom of this country,” said Haradinaj.
He stated that the wounds of the people of Kosovo remain open and will not heal without justice, stressing that the pursuit of justice will continue until the masterminds and executors of the massacre are held accountable.
“We will not stop seeking justice until the criminals receive the punishment they deserve,” Haradinaj added.
At the end of his statement, he expressed eternal gratitude to all those who gave their lives for Kosovo’s freedom.
“Eternal glory to the martyrs of Studime and to all the heroes of Kosovo,” said Ramush Haradinaj.
