Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, has awarded the Presidential Military Medal to Colonel A. J. Berg in recognition of his outstanding contribution to strengthening the strategic partnership and military cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the United States.
The award ceremony was held at the conclusion of Colonel Berg’s tenure as the U.S. Defense Attaché to Kosovo.
On the occasion, Haxhiu thanked Colonel Berg for his continued commitment to supporting the development and modernization of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), advancing interinstitutional cooperation, and deepening defense relations between Kosovo and the United States.
She praised his role in reinforcing the strategic partnership between the two countries and supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing Kosovo’s defense capabilities.
The Presidential Military Medal was presented as a token of appreciation for Colonel Berg’s dedicated service and his significant contribution to advancing military cooperation and the long-standing strategic relationship between Kosovo and the United States.
