A special moment has arrived for the Albanian Royal Family as Prince Leka and Princess Blerta have welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Aleksandër.
The news was announced by Erion Teli, the former Communications Director of the Albanian Royal Family, in a Facebook post expressing his joy over the birth.
“Prince Aleksandër of the Albanians has just been born… Since 5:30 this morning, I have been watching the clock without stopping. Today is one of those days when words are not enough to describe the joy. Last night, in my prayers, I asked God to bless Princess Blerta, ease every moment of this day, and stay by her side. Today, I believe He answered that prayer,” Teli wrote.
He also expressed gratitude to Princess Blerta for her kindness and warmth toward supporters of the Albanian Royal Family.
“On this very special day, I want to say just one thing to our Princess: Thank you. Thank you for your patience with us, the monarchists, with all our excitement, emotions, and love for the Royal Family. You have always welcomed us with kindness, humility, and a smile that made us feel part of this joy.”
Teli concluded his message by welcoming the newborn prince:
“Welcome to the world, His Royal Highness Prince Aleksandër! May God bless the Albanian Royal Family.”
As of now, Prince Leka and Princess Blerta have not yet issued a public statement regarding the birth of their son.
