The Albanian national team officially started preparations today for their final two UEFA Nations League matches against the Czech Republic and Ukraine.

Several players have already arrived in Tirana, while the full squad is expected to be complete by Tuesday.

Today’s training session at the “Air Albania” Stadium included Ylber Ramadani, Myrto Uzuni, Ivan Balliu, Kristjan Asllani, Ardian Ismajli, Arbër Hoxha, Mario Mitaj, Alen Sherri, Simon Simoni, Elseid Hysaj, Andi Hadroj, Thomas Strakosha, and Feta Fetai.

Also joining the team are several players from the U-21 national team, who are gathered for two friendly matches against Moldova, scheduled in Albania on November 15 and 18.

The Albanian Football Federation (FSHF) announced that Berat Gjimshiti, Keidi Bare, and Marash Kumbulla will not be part of the squad for the November matches.

Gjimshiti was injured in his last match for Udinese, while Bare and Kumbulla were already injured. After communication with the respective clubs and medical staff, it was decided that the players would continue their recovery programs with their clubs.

Meanwhile, Rey Manaj arrived today for the camp and immediately underwent medical tests. After evaluation, the medical staff concluded that Manaj would not recover in time, and it was decided he would return to his club to continue his recovery.

Due to these four absences, coach Sylvinho has decided to call up Adrian Bajrami, Jon Mersinaj, and Arbnor Muja for the two November matches.

The players are expected to join the national team on Tuesday to begin training.
