Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, held farewell meetings with U.S. Defense Attaché Colonel Ashley J. Berg and U.S. Military Attaché Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Shaw.
According to the KSF, General Jashari expressed his appreciation for their dedication and thanked them for their significant contributions to strengthening cooperation between the Kosovo Security Force and the United States Armed Forces.

Commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, today received U.S. Defense Attaché Colonel Ashley J. Berg in a farewell meeting, thanking him for his commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation between the KSF and the U.S. military. Jashari also highly praised his role in securing continued U.S. support for the development of the KSF and its progress toward achieving full operational capabilities.
Earlier, General Jashari also hosted a farewell meeting with U.S. Military Attaché Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Shaw, thanking him for his dedication to the professional development and advancement of the KSF’s capabilities.
General Jashari presented both attachés with the “Selfless Service” Medal in recognition of their outstanding contribution and exceptional support for the Kosovo Security Force during their service as U.S. attachés in the Republic of Kosovo.
At the conclusion of the meetings, General Jashari welcomed the newly appointed U.S. attachés and expressed his commitment to continuing the strong professional cooperation based on shared interests.
