Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) MP Jehona Lushaku-Sadriu spoke to the media today ahead of the parliamentary session, commenting on recent political developments and the ongoing institutional gridlock in the country.
She stated that the LDK maintains a firm and unchanged stance on how the current political crisis should be resolved, criticizing the ruling party for its failure to form a parliamentary majority after the elections.
“Our position remains the same regarding how to overcome this political impasse. The ruling party came first in the elections, yet it has failed to secure a parliamentary majority. Over the past four years of governance, it has set a poor example of political cooperation. Its rhetoric has been inappropriate for a serious political entity, and now is the time to learn from those mistakes,” said Lushaku-Sadriu.
She added that the LDK remains open to dialogue and will respond to any invitation aimed at unlocking the tense political situation.
“LDK’s proposal is clear and consistent,” she concluded.
