Republican Congressman Keith Self has been appointed Chair of the Subcommittee on Europe under the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee. The announcement, made by the 119th U.S. Congress, highlights the importance of rebuilding global alliances and communication between the U.S. and European allies.
In his statement, Self emphasized the significance of his new role and its contribution to bolstering transatlantic relationships.
“This role will be crucial as we work to restore America’s global credibility and prioritize America First initiatives alongside the Trump Administration. As Chair, I aim to re-establish communication lines between the U.S. and our European allies to confront the axis of evil—Russia, China, and Iran,” said Self.
Kosovo Ambassador Congratulates Self
