The Korporata Energjetike e Kosovës (KEK) has awarded a contract worth €59,805.47 for the supply of replacement parts for coal feeders A3, A4 and A5 at the Kosova A Power Plant thermal power plant.
According to the contract award notice, the winning bidder is N.T.SH. “ARB-COM” from Pristina. The contract was awarded on June 2, 2026, while its signing is scheduled for June 19, 2026.
KEK stated that the procurement of these spare parts is essential to ensure the normal operation of equipment and to prevent disruptions to the functioning of the power plant’s generating units.
The procurement procedure was conducted through an open tender process. Two bids were submitted, with the contract ultimately awarded to the operator that offered the lowest responsive price.
The investment forms part of ongoing efforts to maintain operational stability at Kosovo’s aging power generation facilities and secure a reliable electricity supply.
