Personnel from KFOR’s Regional Command East (RC-E), in cooperation with multinational partners and firefighters at Camp Bondsteel, have conducted an exercise simulating a mass-casualty incident.

According to KFOR, the exercise aimed to test participants’ ability to respond to emergencies, provide immediate medical assistance and coordinate the evacuation of injured people.

The simulation also included transporting simulated patients aboard a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter.

“The exercise focused on coordination and interoperability between KFOR personnel and emergency responders, strengthening their readiness to respond to emergency situations,” the statement said.
