Soldiers from Italy, Bulgaria, and North Macedonia in the Kinetic Battalion of the Western Regional Command of the KFOR mission have undergone training on the use of helicopters in anti-riot operations, reports KosovaPress.

The training aimed to enhance the procedures for boarding and disembarking from helicopters while personnel wore CRC (Crowd and Riot Control) equipment.

“KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 from 1999, contributing to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and the freedom of movement at all times. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective security response roles,” said an official statement shared on social media.
