The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, has reacted following last night’s attack on the main Ibër-Lepenc canal in Zubin Potok, reports Gazeta Sinjali.
In a Facebook post, Konjufca stated that this was an attempt by terrorist-directed gangs to cause harm to Kosovo. However, he assured that the institutions of Kosovo are making sure these attempts will fail.
Furthermore, he thanked the relevant authorities for their work, as well as partners such as the United States and the European Union, for their support and assistance.
“I would like to thank the competent authorities for their work on security, damage management, and necessary repair work, as well as our partners, the USA and the European Union, who have supported the Republic of Kosovo by offering their help,” wrote Speaker Konjufca.
Among other things, he mentioned that through these attacks, Kosovo’s enemies are attempting to spread panic and insecurity among the citizens.

“Attempts to cause damage to the Republic of Kosovo through attacks on critical infrastructure by terrorist-directed gangs will fail, and our institutions will ensure this.
I would like to thank the competent authorities for their work on security, damage management, and necessary repairs, as well as our partners, the USA and the European Union, who have come out in support of the Republic of Kosovo by offering their assistance.
These acts of Kosovo’s enemies are against it and its people. By attacking critical infrastructure, they aim to spread panic and insecurity. We will respond together, with calm and full security, while they will be held accountable for their terrorist acts.”
