The elected deputy of the LDK, Ekrem Hyseni, responded to RTV21 by stating that the LDK will positively respond to Glauk Konjufca’s invitation for a meeting with political parties for preparatory consultations regarding the constitutive session on April 15th.
“Absolutely, this invitation from the Speaker is not an invitation from the LVV party, but rather an institutional invitation regulated by the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly, which states that the Speaker invites parties to a consultative meeting to set the agenda, determine the seating arrangements for the deputies, and address other matters necessary for the smooth functioning of the first session. LDK will participate in the meeting with Speaker Konjufca because the formation of the next legislature is done through the regulations and laws in effect,” said Hyseni to RTV21.
Hyseni also stated that they will participate in the April 15th session but will not support the LVV candidate for Speaker.
“We will be part of the April 15th session, but of course, we will not support any candidate from LVV or any other party without a prior political agreement,” he said.
