The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KOSF), Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, held a farewell meeting with the Commander of KFOR, Major General Özkan Ulutaş.
According to the statement, the meeting focused on the overall security situation in Kosovo and the region, as well as continued cooperation and coordination between the Kosovo Security Force and KFOR. The two sides assessed the cooperation between the institutions and the importance of joint coordination.
“The importance of continuing and further strengthening professional and operational cooperation was also emphasized through joint engagements, the exchange of experience and inter-institutional coordination,” the statement said.
KOSF Commander Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari praised KFOR’s role and contribution to Kosovo’s security and stability, reaffirming the KOSF’s commitment to continuing and further strengthening cooperation with KFOR.
At the end of the meeting, General Jashari wished General Ulutaş health and success as he completes his mission as KFOR Commander and takes on new duties and responsibilities in his military career.
