Kosovo’s Ambassador to Switzerland, Mentor Latifi, has published a video from the match between Switzerland and Serbia, where Serbian fans can be heard chanting anti-Albanian slogans.
Latifi expressed his concern over these types of chants from Serbian fans and stated that such actions have no place in sports or society.
He called on UEFA and the Swiss Football Federation to take action in order to protect values and respect.
“I am concerned about the inflammatory slogans and chants by Serbian fans against Albanians during the Switzerland-Serbia match. Such actions have no place in sports or society. We call on UEFA and the Swiss Football Federation to act and protect the values of respect.
