Deputies of the Kosovo Assembly have begun gathering for the seventh attempt to finalize the constitution of the ninth legislature.
In this effort, members of the LVV Parliamentary Group have not yet confirmed whether they have secured enough votes to elect Albulena Haxhiu as Speaker of Parliament.
Nezir Kraki, a deputy from the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV), who contested the February 9th elections, called on other parliamentary parties to refrain from blocking the constitution of the Assembly, as this would delay the initiation of the government formation process.
“It is crucial that the parliament begins functioning to set the deadlines for government formation,” Kraki emphasized.
Despite seven attempts over the past two weeks, the Assembly has yet to successfully form its ninth legislature.
