Kosovo President Justina Shiroka-Pula has officially received from the Assembly the amendments to the Law on the Specialist Chambers and the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office.
Bekim Kupina, the president’s media adviser, confirmed that she will take the necessary steps within the legally prescribed deadline.
The legislation was forwarded to the Presidency by Assembly Speaker Albulena Haxhiu after being approved in the parliamentary session on October 6, with 88 votes in favour, none against and no abstentions.
The next step now rests with President Shiroka-Pula, who is expected to proceed in accordance with the applicable legal framework.
