At the commemoration event marking the 26th anniversary of the massacre in Krusha e Vogël, Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, called on the justice authorities to bring the perpetrators of crimes in Kosovo to justice.
“In the spring of 1999, Serbia was carrying out its dark and infamous Greater Serbia project, implementing the notorious plan called ‘Hammer’ for the extermination of the population in Kosovo. As part of this genocidal project, the Serbian authorities had planned as a technique of expulsion and terrorization of the Albanian population the eradication of it from Kosovo, committing mass murders of innocent and defenseless civilians,” said Kurti.
“Even human rights activists in Belgrade, such as Natasha Kandić, have referred to this crime as genocide,” added Kurti.
