Kurti publishes images from meeting with Ambassador Whitaker: Kosovo–US friendship remains strong

Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, held a meeting in his office with the United States Ambassador to NATO, Matthew Whitaker.

During the meeting, Kurti expressed gratitude for the continuous support that the United States provides to Kosovo, emphasizing the importance of strategic partnership and close cooperation between the two countries.

He particularly highlighted cooperation in the defense sector, including training and professional development of members of the Kosovo Security Force, as well as the strengthening of Kosovo’s defense capabilities.

Kurti also underlined the shared commitment with the United States to maintaining stability, peace, and security both in the region and beyond.

He stressed that accelerating Kosovo’s NATO membership would be an important step toward ensuring long-term security in the Balkans.

“In close cooperation with the United States of America, we are committed to stability, peace, and security in the region and beyond. In this regard, accelerating Kosovo’s NATO membership would be an important contribution and a long-term guarantee for peace and security in the Balkans,” Kurti wrote.

He also reiterated that relations between Kosovo and the United States remain strong, built on shared values and mutual trust.

The Prime Minister also published images from the reception he held yesterday for Ambassador Whitaker.
