On October 11, Major General of the Italian Army, Enrico Barduani, will assume command of KFOR.
In a media statement, the NATO mission’s information office, KFOR, announced that the command change ceremony between KFOR XXVIII and KFOR XXIX will take place at the mission’s headquarters in Pristina on October 11, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
“Admiral Stuart B. Munsch, Commander of the Allied Joint Force Command in Naples, will preside over the event. Turkish Army Major General Özkan Ulutaş will hand over KFOR command to Italian Army Major General Enrico Barduani,” the statement from KFOR said.
