The Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, said today that Kosovo will provide military aid to Ukraine. In an interview with the Turkish news agency Anadolu, Maqedonci declared that they are always ready to support Ukraine’s “just fight for freedom.”
He stated that the assistance, which he calls modest, is very important for Ukraine in this difficult phase of their fight for freedom.
“The Government of Kosovo has decided to offer two support packages to Ukraine. The first package will be sent this week to Ukraine and consists of tactical trucks, tactical vehicles, and military armored vehicles.
While the second package, consisting of mortar shells of 120, 81, and 60 millimeters, will also be sent to Ukraine soon,” Maqedonci emphasized.
