In the northern region of Kosovo, there are individuals who view the terrorist Millan Radoicic as a hero.
This sentiment is evident from the inscription found on a building wall in North Mitrovica, which reads “Millan Radoicic, hero” in black.
Millan Radoicic was the individual who claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack on the Kosovo Police that took place on 24.09.2023 in Banjské i Zveçani.
The attack resulted in the death of Kosovo Police officer Afrim Bunjaku, with another officer wounded and another injured due to the explosion following the ambush on the Police patrol in the village. In response, the Kosovo Police took action, resulting in the death of three group members, some arrests, and others fleeing towards Serbia.
Upon gaining control of the situation in Banjska, the Kosovo Police discovered a significant amount of weapons and ammunition belonging to the terrorist group. Shortly after the operation, Millan Radoicic, who was then the vice-president of the Serbian List, claimed responsibility for the incident. Radoicic, known as the “boss of the north,” is being sought by Kosovo authorities to be held accountable for his actions and has been placed on INTERPOL’s wanted list.
