Valon Murtezaj, a member of the General Council of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), has called on his party’s leadership to accept the invitation from the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, to attend a meeting regarding the constitution of Kosovo’s Assembly.
In a Facebook post, Murtezaj emphasized that participation in discussions is not a sign of weakness.
“In politics, especially during a crisis when the Republic of Kosovo lacks both an active Assembly and Government joining a discussion table without any prejudice is a democratic value and a sign of leadership. Kosovo is a young state, and dialogue between different political actors is essential to prevent the deepening of crises,” he wrote.
“Being present at the discussion table is not a weakness; on the contrary, it promotes democratic values and helps build consensus on complex and important issues for Kosovo and its citizens,” Murtezaj concluded.
