Campaign billboards sponsored by Likud, the right-wing Israeli party led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, have appeared in Tel Aviv portraying New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani alongside Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei and Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem.

The billboards carry a message urging Israeli voters not to allow Netanyahu’s opponents to win in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

Erdoğan and Mamdani have both been outspoken critics of Netanyahu’s policies and those of the Israeli government, particularly over the war in Gaza and Israel’s broader actions in the Middle East.

The campaign imagery places Mamdani and Erdoğan alongside figures associated with Iran and Hezbollah, signaling the sharp political rhetoric expected to intensify ahead of Israel’s elections.

Israel is scheduled to hold its next parliamentary elections on October 27.
