Faton Peci, Acting Minister of Agriculture in Kosovo, stated that it is Albin Kurti, as the leader of the ruling Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV), who should invite political parties for discussions on forming new institutions—not the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK).

Peci was responding to LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku’s proposal to form a transitional government involving all parties until the next president is elected.

“The first to call on the parties must be Kurti,” Peci said, emphasizing that Kosovo needs a stable government, not a transitional one.
“If forming Kurti’s third government isn’t possible, then the next logical step could involve Bedri Hamza. But not the third, fourth, or fifth party,” he added, referring to political rankings.

Peci stressed that institutional logic should guide the process and dismissed the idea of interim arrangements, advocating instead for durable political solutions.
