The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, paid tribute to the martyrs and heroes of Krusha e Madhe by visiting the Memorial Complex of this village.
She honored those who lost their lives in the tragic massacre 26 years ago.
Accompanying her was the Mayor of Rahovec, Smajl Latifi.
On March 25, 26, and 27, 1999, 243 people were killed in the village of Krusha in Rahovec, and 893 private and public homes were destroyed by flames.
The Krusha e Madhe massacre is one of the most painful and horrific events committed against the Albanian population by the Serbian army.
Additionally, President Osmani will also lay wreaths in Krusha e Vogël.
