Just hours before the Hague verdict in the case against former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), citizens have begun gathering in Prishtina in front of a large screen displaying photographs of Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi.
The “Flame of Freedom” was also lit for the final time at the location, ahead of Wednesday’s verdict.
Those gathered in Prishtina plan to spend the night in front of the screen, remaining there until the verdict is delivered tomorrow.
Meanwhile, hundreds of Albanians have also gathered outside the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague, awaiting the decision in the case against the four former KLA leaders, according to journalists reporting from the scene.
