Kosovo Police, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, have arrested a Turkish national in possession of smuggled Botox worth €150,000.

The Ministry of Health has responded to the operation, confirming that authorities seized 860 vials of contraband Botox. The ministry stated that the action was carried out by the Economic Crimes Investigation Unit, security institutions, and the Pharmaceutical Inspectorate, which played a key role in confiscating the illegal substances.

Reports indicate that the Botox originated from Iran, raising serious public health concerns over the safety and quality of these cosmetic products.

Authorities have warned that illegally imported medical substances pose a significant risk to public health, urging citizens to seek only certified products through legal channels.
