Swiss Armed Forces Chief Benedikt Roos is visiting Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 2–3 to assess the security situation in the Western Balkans.
The visit is aimed at reviewing regional security developments and Switzerland’s military engagement in the region.
During his stay in Kosovo, Roos will meet with Swiss troops serving as part of the NATO-led KFOR mission and hold talks with KFOR Commander Major General Özkan Ulutaş.
The visit underscores Switzerland’s continued commitment to regional stability and its contribution to international peacekeeping efforts in the Western Balkans.
