The former ambassador of Albania in Kosovo, Arben Çejku, has said that the establishment of the Association of Municipalities with Most is a condition that is not related to membership in the Council of Europe.
“I wish there was an involvement of the last few minutes, but as far as it seems this will not happen because it is blamed in the Assembly of the Council of Europe, Serbia was committed to postpone the country’s time and get a thing such from the agenda of Kosovo”.
“Setting the condition of the Association of Serbian Municipalities is a condition that is not related to the Council of Europe”.
“On the other hand, I think that Kosovo may have taken a step forward by sending a draft of the Association’s statute to the Constitutional Court to give itself and its friends time to help in this process,” Chejku said to Voice of America.
