The new U.S. President, Donald Trump, was in a car with his predecessor, Joe Biden, on their way from the White House to the U.S. Capitol building, where he took the oath of office. It has now been revealed what they discussed.

Also in the car was Senator Amy Klobuchar from Minnesota, who is the chair of the Joint Committee on Congressional Inaugural Ceremonies.

In a statement to MSNBC, Klobuchar said that the conversation covered several topics, but also noted that “if she reveals all the details, she won’t be invited again.”

“They mostly talked about the fires in Los Angeles and the upcoming Olympic Games there. We also discussed American football since it’s playoff season now,” Klobuchar said.

She added that the entire conversation was very “civil” and expressed hope that they could build a positive relationship after a long political rivalry.

“I think Biden deserves it, and I think we can appreciate the day we spent with the Trump family,” the senator from Minnesota emphasized, noting that “shared interests, despite differences, are the most important thing for the U.S.”
