27 years ago, one of the largest massacres against Albanians in Kosovo began at Dubrava Prison, carried out by the regime of criminal Slobodan Milošević.
Inside the prison, 160 Albanian prisoners were killed and more than 300 others were injured.
The Dubrava Prison massacre took place between 19 and 24 May 1999.
Inside Dubrava Prison there is a memorial plaque with the names of all those who were killed in this massacre, which is considered one of the largest massacres committed by the Serbian regime against Albanians.
To this day, no one has been convicted for this massacre.
