The Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK) urged fans not to remain seated during tonight’s crucial playoff final against Turkey for World Cup qualification.

In a Facebook post, the FFK described the night as one that “does not repeat.”

“Tonight is not a day to sit quietly in the stands. Tonight is not a night to watch as passive spectators. This is the moment when each of us must stand, with our voices at full power, hearts beating for one name: Kosovo. We are only one step away from the World Cup a step that for many has been a distant dream for decades. This is a chance that comes only once in a lifetime. And when history knocks at the door, it does not open with silence it opens with noise, passion, and spirit. The stadium is not a theater. There is no script, no passive audience. Everyone has one role: to be the 12th player. The Dardans on the field need that push that cannot be measured by statistics, but is felt in every sprint, duel, and strike.”

The FFK also emphasized respect for the opponent during the national anthems:

“But as soon as the ball starts rolling, the ‘Fadil Vokrri’ Stadium must transform into an arena where even today’s opponent feels the weight of an entire nation. Every meter of the field is won also by the stands. Do not stop singing when we have the ball. Do not stop the atmosphere when they have it. The energy from the stands is more than atmosphere—it is pressure, motivation, advantage. A World Cup ticket is not just a sporting achievement; it is a chance to showcase Kosovo to the world, to promote our identity, history, and pride on the biggest football stage. Tonight, it’s not just a team playing. Tonight, it’s an entire nation. Believe. Sing. Cheer. Because tonight, history can be written with your voice.”
