The President of Serbia, Aleksander Vucic, met with the US Assistant Secretary, James O’Brien, during his stay in Montenegro within the framework of the Regional Leaders’ Summit.
Vucic said that he thanked the American diplomat for supporting the reforms and the path to the EU of the entire region.
“I thanked the USA for supporting the reforms and the European path of the entire region, which will be reflected in the first place in new opportunities and a better life for all our citizens”, wrote Vucic.
Regarding the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Vucic said that although they have not agreed on most issues related to Kosovo, Serbia appreciates the involvement of the USA when it comes to the pressure for the implementation of dialogue agreements, including the Association.
“Even though we did not agree on most of the issues related to Kosovo, Serbia appreciates the involvement of the USA when it comes to insisting on the implementation of the agreements reached in the dialogue and first of all the formation of the Association”, wrote Vucic .
