Tensions escalated during a protest in Tirana after demonstrators broke down the entrance door of the Ministry of Economy and entered the building, according to local media reports.
The demonstration had moved to the ministry before the situation deteriorated.
Outside the building, protesters also set fire to rubbish bins and advertising signs, the reports said.
