Lawyer Nazmi Sallahu has announced another legal victory regarding pensions for categories emerging from the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) war.
He stated that the Court of Appeals has upheld the ruling of the Basic Court in Pristina, confirming that all beneficiaries of war-related pensions are also entitled to receive the basic pension, including the age pension.
In a Facebook post, Sallahu published the Appeals Court decision, which shows that the court rejected the Ministry of Finance’s appeal and recognized his client’s right to simultaneously benefit from both a war-category pension and an age-based pension.
“The Court of Appeals removes all doubts and enables the realization of pensions for all categories emerging from the war, thus confirming the ruling of the Basic Court in Pristina – Administrative Department,” Sallahu wrote.
