The Emergency Management Agency has appealed to citizens to exercise increased caution as the summer season begins, warning that high temperatures significantly raise the risk of fires spreading in open areas, including mountainous and rural regions. According to the institution, preventing fires is essential for protecting human life, property, animals, and the environment.

The agency has urged citizens to avoid any actions that could cause fires, such as lighting fires in nature or discarding flammable waste. It also calls for immediate reporting of any incidents to emergency numbers 112, 193, and 192, as well as cooperation in assisting firefighting efforts when fires threaten to spread.

The agency emphasized that arson, whether intentional or caused by negligence, is a criminal offense and is punishable by law. The statement calls for collective awareness and citizen cooperation, stressing that only early response can prevent consequences and protect the environment.
