Vjosa Osmani has reacted following the attack at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, DC, where Donald Trump and Melania Trump were present.
In a post on the social platform “X,” Osmani expressed solidarity and prayers for President Trump, his wife, and the American people, emphasizing confidence in the resilience of institutions in the United States.
She also praised the swift response of the United States Secret Service, saying their actions prevented a greater tragedy.
“We are grateful for the bravery of U.S. Secret Service agents who acted quickly and heroically to protect the President and all those present. The United States remains the greatest defender of freedom and democracy. No act of violence will ever diminish this,” Osmani wrote.
