The Commander of KFOR, Özkan Ulutaş, has traveled to Brussels for an official visit.
Deputy Secretary General of NATO, Radmila Shekerinska, emphasized that the Alliance remains firmly committed to peace and stability in the Western Balkans.
“I am pleased to welcome KFOR Commander Major General Özkan Ulutaş to NATO Headquarters and invite him to join a meeting of the North Atlantic Council. KFOR continues to play a key role under its long-standing UN mandate. NATO is strongly committed to peace and stability in the Western Balkans,” she stated.
Her remarks reaffirm NATO’s continued strategic focus on regional security, with KFOR remaining a central pillar of stability in Kosovo and the broader region.
