CEC Holds Meeting Today, Important Decisions on June 7 Elections to Be Discussed

The Central Election Commission (CEC) will hold its regular meeting today, where several agenda items related to the organization of the early parliamentary elections scheduled for June 7 will be discussed.

The meeting will take place at 13:30 in the institution’s offices, under the leadership of the meeting chair, Kreshnik Radoniqi.

According to the agenda, the CEC is expected to review and approve recommendations for the first group of election monitoring organizations tasked with observing the electoral process.

The meeting will also discuss a recommendation regarding the suspension of the registered political party “Green Movement ECO.”

As part of preparations for the electoral process, the CEC will review the appointment of regular and conditional polling station councils, as well as the members of counting teams in Municipal Counting Centers.

The agenda also includes appointments in diplomatic missions, authorization for collecting postal shipments outside Kosovo, and the approval of the operational plan for election day.

Additionally, the CEC is expected to decide on payments for private facilities that will be used as polling centers for the June 7, 2026 elections.
