Second Day of Campaign: Parties Hold Numerous Rallies Across Kosovo

On the second day of the campaign for the extraordinary elections for the Assembly of Kosovo, political parties continue their activities with rallies in various municipalities across the country.

The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) will hold several rallies today, in Kaçanik and Hani i Elezit at 17:00, in Shtime at 18:00, in Fushë Kosovë at 19:30, and in Pristina at 20:30. At the campaign opening in the “1 Tetori” hall, the party’s prime ministerial candidate Lumir Abdixhiku emphasized party unity and readiness for political challenges, while criticizing the current government and its approach to distributing financial support to citizens.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) will hold rallies in Gjakova at 18:00 and in Peja at 19:30. Party leader and prime ministerial candidate Bedri Hamza presented his program during the campaign launch, promising price reductions, salary and pension increases, as well as investments in the economy, energy, and healthcare. NISMA Socialdemokrate leader Fatmir Limaj also attended the event.

The Vetëvendosje Movement is expected to hold a rally in Istog at 17:00, and another in Peja at 19:30.

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) will hold a rally in Rahovec at 20:00. At the campaign opening in Gjakova, Ramush Haradinaj praised the party’s prime ministerial candidate Ardian Gjini as one of the most prepared figures for leadership, stressing the need for cooperation in overcoming the country’s challenges.

The election campaign will last a total of 10 days and seven hours and is expected to conclude on June 7 at 06:59.
