U.S. General After Visit to Kosovo: Cooperation with the KSF Strengthens Regional Security

General Chris McKinney, Deputy Director for Strategy, Plans, and Policy at the U.S. European Command (USEUCOM), concluded his latest visit to the Western Balkans this month.

During his stay in Kosovo, he met with the Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, whom he thanked for the longstanding cooperation and coordination aimed at strengthening security across Southeast Europe.

McKinney emphasized that the progress achieved together reflects a shared commitment to a safer, more stable, and more prosperous region.

“The progress we have achieved together reflects the strength of our shared commitment to a secure, stable, and prosperous Southeast Europe,” he stated.

The meeting also reaffirmed the United States’ continued support for the modernization of Kosovo’s defense capabilities and the advancement of regional security cooperation.
