In Sofia, Bulgaria, starting today, for three consecutive days, the meeting of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly will be held, where Kosovo is also on its agenda. On this occasion, the Assembly of Kosovo intends to advance its status from an observer member to an associate member.

The delegation from the Assembly of Kosovo is participating in the discussions of the Commission for Security and Defense, but during the development of the works there will be other commissions where draft reports will be presented, including for Kosovo.

The Assembly of Kosovo intends to advance its status from an observer member to an associate member. In the announcement of the Assembly, it is stated that its deputies, among other things, will decide on the demands of Malta and the Assembly of Kosovo, for status advancement.
