The Kosovo Police have arrested Miloš Dimitrijević and Ranko Zdravković on suspicion of criminal offenses related to undermining the integrity of the electoral process and unlawfully influencing citizens’ voting rights, according to information obtained by RKS News.
Miloš Dimitrijević is known as the former head of the so-called “temporary bodies,” specifically the Serbian parallel municipal structure in Peja. He is a member of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) and is regarded as one of the influential figures within the Serbian community in the municipality of Peja.
Dimitrijević is also the father of Darko Dimitrijević, director of Radio Goraždevac. According to KosovaPress sources, he has maintained close ties with political representatives in Serbia and Republika Srpska, including former Serbian Minister of Education Branko Ružić and current minister Snežana Paunović.
He has also participated in consultative mechanisms for communities within the Municipality of Peja, although he has consistently been identified as a supporter of Serbian parallel structures.
Meanwhile, Ranko Zdravković is a former member of the management board of the parallel municipality of Peja and serves as the president of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) branch in the municipality. He currently holds the position of member of the Local Community Safety Council (LCSC) in Goraždevac.
The two men are suspected of offenses connected to election-related activities, and authorities are continuing their investigation into the case.
