According to an official KSF press release, Lt. Col. Zyberaj completed the grueling advanced program alongside more than 951 elite mid-to-senior level officers representing over 90 partner nations from around the world.

Mastering Operational and Strategic Warfare

The CGSC is one of the oldest, most selective, and globally revered military education institutions within the US Armed Forces. The primary curriculum focuses on reshaping elite officers into versatile commanders capable of leading joint inter-agency and multinational forces.

According to the KSF command, the specialized training program equips officers with several critical tactical capabilities:

  • Complex Military Operations: Preparing officers for high-stakes command and staff duties within multifaceted combat and peacekeeping environments.
  • Operational and Strategic Leadership: Developing advanced skills in battlefield planning, multi-domain orchestration, and strategic resource allocation.
  • Inter-Agency Cooperation: Enhancing seamless interoperability between conventional military units, government intelligence apparatuses, and international partners.
  • Geopolitical Decision-Making: Deep-dive academic modules focusing on military history, doctrine, and fast-paced operational decision-making frameworks.

Strengthening the US-Kosovo Defense Alliance

Lt. Col. Zyberaj’s successful graduation from the Fort Leavenworth academy marks another milestone in the institutional evolution of the KSF as it undergoes its long-term comprehensive transition into a fully interoperable conventional defense force.

By consistently sending its top officers to elite US military institutions, Prishtina continues to deepen its strategic defense integration with Washington and NATO, ensuring that its leadership cadre is trained to the highest contemporary standards of Western military doctrine.
